Meet the Teachers

Ms. Faith

Director

I have been working at Sunshine Learning Center since February of 2004. I have been working in childcare since 2001 and graduated in May of 2014 with an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I have enjoyed seeing the center grow over the years and watching the children move up from room to room as they grow and graduate from the program. IT also has been exciting to meet the new families as they enroll. During my free time I enjoy shopping with my mom and sisters, reading good books, painting, and card making with friends.

Ms. Meghan

Assistant Director & Infant Teacher

I studied Early Childhood Education at CVTC in Eau Claire. I love working with children because I love watching how as they grow they discover the world around them in their own special way. When I was 12 I started babysitting for my neighbor which gave me the love I have for children. Aside from working with children my hobbies include riding one of my three horses, kayaking, clay target practice, camping and scrapbooking. I also have a border collie puppy to keep me busy.

Ms. Katherine

Preschool Teacher & Team Management

I started at Sunshine Learning Center in August 2014 and completed my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2016. In 2011, I married my high school sweetheart, and we soon started our own family. We live on a farm with cattle, pigs, chickens and more. We have a family dog named Molly and a couple house cats. When I get a little down time, I like to spend time with family, read books, sing and listen to music, crochet, paint, fish and explore.

Ms. Jenni

4K Teacher

I have worked at Sunshine since August of 2005. I have my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls. I live in Spring Valley with my husband, son and many pets. I enjoy working at Sunshine because I have the opportunity to work with many age groups and get to know the children’s personalities in all the classrooms.

Ms. Kayla

Two Year Old Teacher

I started at Sunshine in July of 2019. I wanted to working with children because I like to see them learn and grow. I want them to know how special they are. In my free time, I enjoy making YouTube videos and writing stories and fan fiction about my favorite game, Undertail.

Ms. Emma

Toddler Teacher

I started at Sunshine in June of 2022. I’m obtaining my Associates Degree from Northwoods tech, graduating in August, 2022. I enjoy watching children meet their milestones and goals. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I also like to travel, kayak and shop.

Ms. Izzy

Infant Teacher

I started working at Sunshine Learning Center in June of 2023. I enjoy working at Sunshine because I love seeing the kids learn new things and watching them have so much joy in accomplishing new things. In my free time I love to watch movies with my family and hang out with friends. I enjoy camping, going for walks, fishing and watching sunsets.

Ms. Kayla H.

Young Two’s Teacher

I joined Sunshine Learning Center in February of 2025. I’m a mother of 2 wonderful children, Estella and Bjorn, as well as a fur baby named Midnight. In my free time I enjoy art, music, gaming and most importantly, my kiddos.
